THE READING LEAGUE SOUTH CAROLINA

Sharing knowledge, inspiring change.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to advance the awareness, understanding, and use of evidence-aligned reading instruction across South Carolina, by connecting all stakeholders in order to ensure equitable literacy instruction for all students.

On March 7, 2024 The Reading League-South Carolina and Hand2Mind sponsored a live face-to-face event. It was a great learning experience for all who participated. Check out our EVENTS page for our next event.

On July 21, 2023 educational leaders came from across South Carolina to discuss the greatest civil rights issue of our time – The Right to Read. Thank you to our partners at All4SC, Collaborative Classroom, and Strive Together for their support and commitment to ensuring all teachers are armed with the knowledge of evidence-based practices for teaching reading.
