Ashleigh Langheim is a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist and a certified School Psychologist with credentials from both the South Carolina and North Carolina Boards of Education. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, currently practicing at Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services in Mount Pleasant, SC. In North Carolina,   Ashleigh holds additional licensure as a Traumatic Brain Injury School Psychologist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston and furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Specialist’s degree in School Psychology from The Citadel Graduate College. With over 16 years of experience, Ashleigh has worked with students ranging from preschool to young adulthood across South Carolina, North Carolina, Alaska, and Connecticut. Her practice is deeply rooted in the belief that literacy is a fundamental human right and the foundation of lifelong learning. Ashleigh is trained in Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of effective literacy instruction. She is a passionate advocate for evidence-based literacy practices for all students. Additionally, Ashleigh is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and contributes her expertise to The Citadel Psychology Advisory Board.
