Jenny Abbott Edwards is an educator, instructional designer, and interventionist with nearly two decades of experience in early childhood education and instructional technology. She holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and an Ed.S. in Instructional Technology from Coastal Carolina University. Passionate about learner-centered design, she develops engaging, research-based educational experiences across classroom, virtual, and online environments.
A Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist with Orton-Gillingham certification, Jenny is dedicated to evidence-based literacy instruction and personalized learning. She specializes in differentiated instruction, curriculum design, and technology integration to ensure effective, accessible learning for all students.
Jenny’s experience spans early childhood, virtual learning, and higher education. She is an advocate for equitable, research-based literacy instruction, empowering learning communities and improving student outcomes.
An actively involved Coastal Carolina University alumna, Jenny is an American Leadership Forum Fellow (Class VIII), an ElderGarten Fellow (Class II), and a member of the International Dyslexia Association. She is excited to join the TRL-SC board, where she continues her advocacy for literacy education.
She lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband, two sons, and their Goldendoodle, Remington.
