Keegan Wilson is a passionate and highly diversified educator with a strong background in literacy instruction, intervention, and professional development. She holds a multi-categorical special education B.A. and a master’s degree in Elementary Education. With over a decade of experience in both school and district leadership roles, Keegan has served as a special education teacher, regular education teacher, reading interventionist, RTI interventionist, and district dyslexia intervention specialist.
Keegan is a certified Orton-Gillingham and LETRS Academy educator and has completed the Dyslexia Advocacy program through the Dyslexic Training Institute. She recently earned her Structured Literacy Program Certificate from Cox Campus. Known for her expertise in structured literacy and multimodal instruction, she provides high-quality literacy support and training for educators.
As the national literacy director for hand2mind, Keegan promotes evidence-based literacy resources aligned with the Science of Reading. She leads professional development sessions, presents at conferences, and supports districts in implementing effective literacy instruction. She has played a key role in expanding access to literacy tools across the country, successfully collaborating with educators and districts to improve reading outcomes.
Keegan served as the Events Coordinator on the TRL-SC board and is currently the Vice President of Operations for the upcoming year. Through her leadership, she continues to advocate for structured literacy practices and support educators in implementing effective reading instruction.
