She will discuss Brennen's commitment to evidence-based literacy practices through Project Read. Starting with systematic phonics, they expanded to include the explicit writing program "Framing Your Thoughts." In the last two years, 85% of teachers were trained in IMSE's Orton Gillingham curricula. Simultaneously, they underwent LETRS training, leading to rich data-driven discussions and progress monitoring. Upper grades focus on morphology, with vertical articulation meetings to refine the scope and sequence.
